I am especially fond of bats, especially the fruit bats or flying foxes with their cute faces. Your photo really shows off this bat's head and markings, and you've got to love how he wraps himself up for a mid-day snooze :). We were fortunate to have quite a few of the small insect-eating bats where we used to live, and they were indeed a marvel to watch as they swooped and dived after insects as dusk turned into evening.

Those animals are just fantastic. A bat had entered my friend'd apartmant last year. It made maybe 50 tours inside the living room without touching anything. Even when I moved and got inside its itinerary, it adapted and continued to fly. :-)

Those ones were rather small. They were asleep I thought, barely moving. They must be active at night.
