Treiso is a comune in the Province of Cuneo in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 50km southeast of Turin.

The mountain you see on the horizon is Monviso, Piedmont side of Monte Rose, the massif which also includes Matterhorn. By the way: Piedmont means "the foot of the mountain". :-)
